First made as a carved top mandolin in the early1970’s, we now offer this with the lighter “flat back” construction, but retaining the original distinctive shape and features.
The particularly wide fingerboard and long string length is useful for players who need ‘more room’. The Lucetta has particularly sweet, bell like tone.
Indian Rosewood sides and three piece back, Select Western Red Cedar top, Honduras Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, pearl position markers, gold plated Gotoh tuners, Rosewood bindings with marquetry borders and marquetry purfling on front.
