Please note: due to changes in regulations and constant design developments, we sometimes need to change details such as binding and inlay materials.
Gordon is my oldest musical friend, he and I have shared many special times over the years. I've lost count of the number of guitars he has bought from me, and we are always discussing new options. This one is long overdue - an update of the original Fylde Gordon Giltrap Signature. I've always thought that Maple and Cedar are a perfect tonal pairing, we both wanted him to have a new signature model but couldn't decide which direction to go, then all of a sudden, this occurred to me, and I am extremely pleased with it.
In principle, it’s the same structure as the first GG signature, with the wide fingerboatf and short scale length. Weve just changed the timbers to a combination that we know is very successful and gives Gordon a new tonal palette.
Gordon says, “It has a tone like no other”
So we’ve done it again!!
Figured Maple back and sides. Western Red Cedar Soundboard. Five-piece laminated neck Mahogany, Walnut and Ash. Ebony fingerboard and bridge with Pearl Diamond Inlays. Gold plated Gotoh tuners. Sundari Rosewood bindings with marquetry purfling. Hiscox Liteflite case included.
