Tenor Guitar For Ullapool

Every year we make a special guitar to sell in aid of the  Festival.

It’s particularly important this year, as the last two  festivals have been cancelled due to Covid, and the future of the best guitar festival anywhere, is a little in doubt. We need to help.

Most of the tickets have been sold, but the missing two years have left a gap in the finances while some of those who would usually go to the festival have found their lives changed for ever and have changed their plans.

We want to make sure the festival can continue somehow, so this year we’ve made something that should have wide appeal.

It’s a rather lovely Tenor guitar.  Bubinga back and sides, Port Orford Cedar Soundboard, Ebony bindings with red borders, English Sycamore and Rosewood Neck, Ebony Fingerboard with Pearl "cut square" inlays.

It will be on display at the Festival, but if you are interested before that, I will put your name at the top of the list.

For sale at £3,400 - SOLD

Cutting that Sycamore

The Sycamore in our garden that provided the wood for the neck of the Tenor guitar. This is a video of a little recent pruning by  Jake English of “The English Tree Company".   What a good name.

You didn’t know that trees bounce did you?
